Let’s start
our new adventure with these very good and easy pumpkin-buiscuits!
They’re
perfect for autumn and Halloween!
Let’s cook
them together!
We need:
300 g flour
for cakes
100 g brown sugar
30 g soft butter (you have to take it from the fridge a few minutes before!)
100 g
chopped pumpkin
1 egg
75 ml milk
3 tea spoon
of baking powder
Cinnamon
Few Raisins
1 bowl
Baking paper
Alluminium
foil
A pan
Chopper
mixer
First of
all, turn on the oven at 180°C.
Cut
the pumpkin and bake it for 20 minutes in the oven.
While the
pumpkin is in the oven, mix butter and brown sugar together.
Then, you can
put the other ingredients in the bowl, in this order: the flour, the chopped pumpkin, the
cinnamon, the raisins, the egg, the baking powder and, finally, the milk!
First, mix all
the mixture with a spoon for drying the egg, then work the mixture with your
hands until you reach a soft but firm consistence!
Let it
stand for about 10 minutes! I use this time to clean my upside down kitchen =D
Now, with
you wet hands, make as meat-balls (like in the picture below) and place them on
the pan, covered by the baking paper.
These kind
of biscuits are used to grow up very much while baking, so you have to place
them with a certain distance!
Bake the
biscuits at 180°C for about 20 minutes (You know the times for your oven to
bake biscuits!)
When the
biscuits are baked, let them cool, so you can sprinkle with powdered sugar and
a little of cinnamon!
As you can
see in the pictures, these biscuits are not so small! But they are so good and light
that you can enjoy one with any…guilt =)
